As
an innovative leader, in the prefinished hardwood flooring
market, Vintage Hardwood Flooring, manufacturer of Vintage
Prefinished Flooring, has built a reputation of exceptional
quality and service both across Canada and in the United States.
When
Vintage opened its doors in 1989, the hardwood flooring market
was comprised of mainly unfinished strip flooring. With determination
and hard work, Vintage soon established a loyal following
of hardwood flooring installers throughout Ontario.
In
1994, Vintage made its debut into the prefinished market by
supplying a local hardwood flooring prefinishing company with
the unfinished flooring that would be finished and marketed
throughout Canada.
In
1997, Vintage relocated its manufacturing facility via acquisition
to its current location. This new 70,000 square foot building
set the stage for the Vintage Prefinished Hardwood Flooring
line. With capital expenditure exceeding four million dollars,
new state-of-the-art, prefinished flooring equipment was purchased
and is to this day, continually being upgraded.
Although
no longer manufacturing unfinished flooring, Vintage has carried
that innovative leadership, and the exceptional commitment
to quality, into the Vintage Prefinished Flooring. Vintage
has built a reputation of exceptional quality and service across
North America.
Using
state-of-the-art technology, Vintage has continuously strived
to manufacture and market a superior quality product surpassed
by none in the industry. The integrity of our wood, the expertise
of our people, our revolutionary manufacturing system and the
strength of our distribution network have undoubtedly made
our Vintage brands, a popular choice for prefinished hardwood
flooring.
With
over 20 years of experience, we understand the importance of
updating our manufacturing equipment, expanding our product
offering both in wood species and colors and making continuous
product improvements. As a result, new wood species and colors
are frequently added to our Vintage product lines and our specially
formulated aluminum oxide finish coats - Armour-Kote® are
continuously increased to ensure longer lasting protection.
Special
attention is given to our wood selection whether it is domestic
or exotic, solid or engineered. White Oak, Red Oak, Hard Maple,
Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry), Hickory,
North
American
Cherry (Black Cherry), Ash, Red Pine, Andiroba (Brazilian Mahogany),
Tatajuba (Brazilian Iroko), Muiracatiara (Tigerwood), Muirapiranga
(Maria
Rosa), Macaranduba (Brazilian
Jarrah), Ipe (Brazilian
Walnut), Gombeira (Brazilian Ebony), Cabreuva, Cumaru, Merbau,
Black Walnut, Timbor and Jaca are our
primary wood sources due to their hardness, durability, preservation
and
